The CE48P-KOA guitar in this series features a Figured Koa Top and the classic Super Shallow Lyrachord cutaway body, providing clear highs, focused, and balanced bass response through the Elite multi-soundhole design.

The top's quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing has been carefully designed, borrowing from past Ovation bracing patterns and voiced for the present, resulting in natural tone, optimal response, and power. The body, top, and sound holes create the classic Ovation Elite sound, resonating with full projection, remarkable note clarity and balance, and nuanced tonal complexity. The top is finished with white binding and a beautiful transparent Sunburst.

Other premium features include an effortlessly playable satin-finish neck, a 10"-radius rosewood fretboard with 20 fully accessible frets (24 frets for high E string), Pearloid inlays, and a rosewood bridge. The CE48P-KOA is equipped with an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system, featuring a three-band EQ, volume/gain control, onboard tuner, and low-battery light.

The Ovation Celebrity Collection Elite Exotic line takes the playability and pristine live sound of the Celebrity Collection Elite and visually enhances it with a stunning layer of exotic wood. The exotic top has detailed laser-cut epaulets that add to the uncommon appearance and sonically provide remarkable note clarity. The satin-finished neck, Ovangkol fretboard, and bridge all contribute to effortless and responsive playing.
